Calm PRT by NeuroScience Review: Pretty Pricey For a Relaxant
Calm PRT by NeuroScience is a supplement that can help reduce stress and hyperactivity. This product is not only suitable for those who experience high levels of anxiety but also people who have trouble sleeping and/or are looking to gain more focus. Increased stress not only leads to inability to concentrate but can also cause heightened risk of several health-related issues such as memory loss, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart illnesses and even cancer. We were quite excited to try Calm PRT so if you are interested in getting to know the product then keep reading!
Calm PRT’s Manufacturer
If you’ve been interested in brain-related supplements then there’s a good chance you’ve heard of NeuroScience. The company has been running since 2002 and employs approximately 150 people, so it’s quite a large and successful enterprise. Although NeuroScience had a minor hiccup with the FBI in 2014 (article available here) the company continues to be operational.
Calm PRT’s Price
Only registered health practitioners can order from NeuroScience’s official site, so you can purchase Calm PRT via Amazon.com at $48.00 per bottle.
Calm PRT’s Ingredients
Calm PRT contains Rhodiola Rosea root extract (standardized to 16% rosavins), SerinAid 50P (Phosphatidylserine enriched soy lecithin), Glycine, Taurine, vegetable cellulose (vegetarian capsules), rice flour, and magnesium stearate.
Rhodiola Rosea is a famous herb that has been used for centuries to improve mood and fight fatigue. It works on the nervous system by reducing fatigue, decreasing stress levels and improving abilities to sleep. While many customers find that Rhodiola Rosea is an effective supplement, it may cause a bad reaction when taken with blood pressure medication. For this reason, we don’t recommend that you take this product if you suffer from blood pressure related issues.
Another highlight ingredient in the formula is Phosphatidylserine, which may help with memory capacity. Low levels of phosphatidylserine in the brain have been correlated with serious memory decline, which is why this substance shows some promise in aiding cognitive function. Phosphatidylserine also reduces the sensitivity of cortisol receptors (Cortisol is a hormone released in our body when we undergo stress) in the HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal) axis. In other words, phosphatidylserine signals our brain to have a calmer reaction during stressful situations.
Pro’s and Con’s
- Helps to reduce anxiety and promote calmness
- Contains Rhodiola Rosea – a compound that reduces fatigue and anxiety
- Quite expensive for a relaxant
- May not work for everyone
Calm PRT is a good relaxing supplement that may work for some people to reduce fatigue and anxiety. After searching for other reviews online, we came to realize that only half of the customer population was impressed with the product.
For instance, one customer wrote: “This product has worked well for me, leaving me feeling calmer and more centered but with the same or better energy levels. I had bad reactions to AdreCor and TravaCor by the same company, but Calm PRT has fewer ingredients and for me, no side effects.” Clearly, she values the product for its effectiveness and safety but is not impressed with the price tag.
Another customer commented: “From the first night that I started taking Calm PRT, I could not sleep. […] it is possible that this natural product can increase restlessness though I gather this is unusual.”
In conclusion, although Calm PRT may work well for some people to reduce anxiety and promote calmness, the price of the product is far too high for its formula. If the cost does not bother you then you can certainly get yourself a bottle, but please know that there other options that work just as well for a lowered price.
