Provigil: Proving that Nootropics Is an Exact Science

provogilProvigil is a newer nootropic pill on the market. It combines some of the same ingredients that are found in the leading nootropics, like Alpha Brain, but has not gotten the attention like its competitors. Nootropics is a precise science that can yield excellent results when the right ingredients and extracts are combined. However, just because a pill has the same ingredient list as one of the best does not mean it works like one of the best.

After studying the nootropics market, you probably know which ingredients have a proven track record of working. Alpha GPC Choline and vinpocetine are two ingredients that keep showing up in the leading nootropics and Adderall alternatives. You have to wonder whether or not Provigil actually contains these two active ingredients or not. They might show up on the ingredient list, but does testing support the idea that these two ingredients have been put together in the correct way?

Putting Provigil to the Test

As always, we put this Adderall alternative to the test. We had a small survey group of 5 people who had an interest in nootropics. They are only permitted to be a part of this group after at least 2 months of not using a nootropics pill. The Provigil test group took a 2-month supply of the pills and kept detailed journals about the results.

After reviewing the journals, we found that just 2 out of 5 people demonstrated an increase in focus and work ethic. The other 3 reported no noticeable difference in their productivity. This is discouraging for some people who are considering Provigil, but we also found that the 2 who had positive results were very enthusiastic about the positive changes.

Pro’s and Con’s

–  If you receive positive benefits from taking Provigil, they will be significant

–  It does work for some people

–  Good ingredient list

–  Scores less than 50% in small group testing

–  The active ingredients are not being combined in the most effective way

Summary: Provigil Should Not Be the First Nootropic You Try

While Provigil has been proven to work for some, there are much better and consistent alternative on the market. Since there are real nootropic pills available, only try Provigil if you have already tried the top 3 on our review list.
